Kirklees population increases by 1,100 to 439,800 (2019)

The latest estimate (2019) for the population of Kirklees shows 439,800 people, an increase of approximately 1,100 compared to 2018. Links to the latest estimates are shown below. The increase in population from 2018 to 2019 is due to:

Estimates for 2012-2016 were revised and re-issued 22 March 2018. In Kirklees the 2016 population estimate was reduced by around 1,800 as a result of the changes in methodology (see the ONS Website for more details).
